I Am Learning...

That being honest with yourself is the hardest thing you will ever do in your life.

It is really challenging to admit to yourself your faults and true realities. I know we should be true to ourselves, but man, it a deep and humbling experience.

I like it and hate it at the same time.

Anyone else feels like this?

I can be pretty honest with myself, but the trouble is that sometimes I don't listen to myself.

I'm brutally honest with myself. That's why I describe myself as a fat old man. No one else seems to get that.

Remember that being honest with yourself also means acknowledging and building on your strengths. It gets easier with repetition, and doesn't hurt so much when faced with a truth we don't like. Just hang on, keep at it.

I'm with Bob on this one. I do the same thing from time to time.

yeah, I'm in Bob and RJ's lot on this one. Being honest with myself is pretty easy. Listening to my own advice though - not so much.

Yes, it can be very uncomfortable to see things in yourself that you may not want to see. However, this honest introspection is essential for developing your insight, wisdom and way of being.

Keep doing the work!

I'm honest with myself which only feeds my neurosis and social dysfunction.

I'm agree with Bob on this one. Being honest with myself is pretty easy. Following through is the hard part.

Sometimes our greatest growth comes from pain. Sounds like you are growing alot.

It's a mess, I know, but it's necessary for growth and development. Even though it can be a stressful mess, just think of it as making yourself less of a mess. Keep the growth going
