This is the 20th Anniversary of the 'Janet' Album
20 years ago today, I bought the Janet CD. The mood, the times and the vibe of the songs were perfect.
In fact, the bohemian style she used in the videos were inspiring. I remember buying Native American chokers, flannels and baggy jeans because of the videos and images of Janet in magazines.
This was a defining CD and it still stands the test of time.
What was your favorite Janet song from this CD?

Yeah that was a very good CD. Another favorite song of hers is Anytime, Anyplace. I note it's been lifted in a current song too, or at least one I hear on the air occasionally.
I spent five years of my life at two different radio stations. And the DJ still lives within me.
My favorite song from that CD was If. The summer of 93 was a major turning point in my life. I got my first job after college and was living on my own for the first time. The songs on that album always remind me of the summer of 93.
Still love That's The Way Love Goes.
