Interesting Quote: Rod Blagojevich


"I'm blacker than Barack Obama. I shined shoes. I grew up in a five-room apartment. My father had a little laundromat in a black community not far from where we lived. I saw it all growing up."

I guess he's blacker than me too. I never shined shoes.

When he goes somewhere, everyone still sees his skin color first. And he's awarded the benefit of the doubt. So no, shoe shining doesn't give him some mythical ghetto pass. He needs to sit his crooked as down.
