In Cali-Cal, the houses of the state Legislature passed resolutions yesterday endorsing the legal effort to overturn Prop 8.
This is great news as we head into Thursday. I feel very good about this.
The supporters of the overturn have always believed that Prop 8 was a revision to the state Constitution and only the Legislature can place such revisions before voters.
Sen. Mark Leno from San Francisco said:
"We're talking about a radical revision to our Constitution," said who sponsored the Senate resolution. Do we have a constitutional democracy in California or do we have mob rule, where a majority of Californians can change the Constitution at any time?"
