Our leaders and supportive folks are truly making bank. Please take a look at the compensation paid to heads of 30 LGBT and AIDS organizations, conducted by the Washington Blade.
A Student Affairs' pay is nowhere near those salaries. My salary is pretty much petty cash to these folks...yes, I'm jealous.

Back in the early 90s I worked at a non-profit agency in Brooklyn. The executive director's salary was a bit over $150,000. So I'm not surprised to see it has doubled at some agencies.
Mind you these folks have to bring in the big bucks also. When I worked at NYU School of Law I heard the dean of the school had to make nice with the alum and try to raise at least a million dollars a day.
Hmmm, making nice with people vs trying to get teenagers to learn English?
