In college, we always went to Paducah, Ky for a good time at the gay club. For all my time there, I saw this song performed at least 6 times a year during my ungrad and grad years.

Hey, fellow Southerner! You must have lived fairly close in the next-door state. I live west of Nashville. I had no idea that song was played in gay clubs so much.
