They're doing it in New Jersey!

During a fundraising dinner for Garden State Equality, Governor Jon Corzine said that he would sign a marriage equality law once the process is ready.

He also announced a new regulation that allows transgender New Jersey folk to change their gender on their driver's license. They will need would to provide an affidavit of their gender identity to get done first.

That's something for New Jersey. I never thought they would be putting it out there like that. Good for them.

Maybe one day, we'll be alive to see a U.S. President doing this exact same thing. For now, good for New Jersey!
