Comedian Stephen Fry set to marry his partner

Stephen is tying the knot with his man, Elliott Spencer.

The actor, presenter and comedian confirmed he is to be married to 27-year-old Spencer after the news emerged in The Sun newspaper, joking that there was now “fat chance” of a private wedding.

The couple formally gave notice at Fry’s local registry in Dereham, Norfolk, according to documents dated 23 December. While the date has not been set, the pair are expected to wed sometime in the next year before the notice expires.

The 57-year-old was first pictured with Spencer in November, but it is understood that the pair have been romantically involved since last summer.
