California-based research center released a study that proves "don't ask, don't tell" is truly bogus. The study was conducted by four retired military officers found out the gays in the armed forces are unlikely to undermine the ability to fight and win.
According to the officers, "Evidence shows that allowing gays and lesbians to serve openly is unlikely to pose any significant risk to morale, good order, discipline or cohesion."
To support their study, the panel looks to the British and Israeli military, where it says gay people serve openly and it's doesn't affect the morale or the cohesiveness of the soldiers.
I always thought it wouldn't matter. I mean, when bullets are flying and bombs are dropping, I think homosexuality is the last thing on people's mind. But you never know.
