WTFrak?! Hyatt is Kicking out Comic Con Folks?

Staying in the Manchester Grand Hyatt Hotel for Comic Con? Maybe not.

The mega hotel has kicked out the geeks for the American Health Association convention.

Bleeding Cool reports:

It’s already been reported (and cartooned) that Al Gore is in attendance at the American Health Association convention being held at the Hyatt during Comic Con, the hotel that is traditionally the hangout place of the comic industry during the show, and who spend approximately sixty million dollars at the hotel in question over those five days.

The AHA have block booked many rooms in the hotel during that show – leaving comic creators and professionals unable to get rooms. Some enterprising individuals decided to create their own glitch and started successfully booking those rooms through the AHA website, at discount rate.

Sadly it seems, someone caught on and those bookings are now suddenly being cancelled.
On the Hyatt website it has this:

On behalf of our entire staff, we would like to welcome you to our beautiful hotel! Our mission is to provide authentic hospitality by making a difference in the lives of the people we touch every day. So whether you are traveling for business or leisure, are seeking productivity or relaxation, we hope you will experience the Hyatt touch. We are very pleased that you will be joining us, and we look forward to meeting you.

PLEASE NOTE:
These online reservations are available only for current and prospective attendees of the Health Forum / AHA Leadership Summit. If you are not a current or prospective Summit attendee, your reservation will be cancelled with notification from the Manchester Grand Hyatt.

So Comic Con will be in L.A. by next year?
