Do You Want To See Candy Land...The Movie?

Lordy Lord...the minds of Hollywood are f**ked. Universal Pictures believes that people will be gracious if Candy Land becomes a movie.

They have asked Etan Cohen to write and Kevin Lima to direct a live-action version of this malarkey. I can't understand the reason for this, but somebody somewhere thinks it's a great idea.

But why Candy Land? Why not Risk or Hungry Hungry Hippos? Or UNO, that could be a Horror movie with the killer saying 'UNO and out' after he/she kills someone.

This sounds horrifying!

They wanted to do Monopoly, but they ran out of play money. Bada-Bump!

When I did was in educational non-profit in college, we used to work in preschools and the children loved to play this game. And I have to the story is rather epic for a children's game, and if creative enough can be made into a fun movie or a really dark one.

Then again they way the story was told to me was through the eyes of a 4 year old, who tends to make everything a bit more interesting.

Didn't they do this already? It's called Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (aka a f**k up remake of one of the greatest movies ever).

CocoDorm did Twister in one of their movies. Now *THAT* was entertaining...
