Marvel Studios just confirmed that Samuel L. Jackson will be back as Nick Fury for nine movies. Not so long ago, he wasn't sure if they were going to ask him back.
But, that's no longer an issue:
Samuel L. Jackson has buried the hatchet with Marvel Entertainment, making a deal to play the role of Nick Fury in "Iron Man 2," and potentially many other films.
Jackson's deal is a long-term commitment to play Fury, the leader of the espionage unit the Shield. His deal contains an option to play the character in nine future Marvel superhero films, efforts that are expected to include "Captain America," "Thor," "The Avengers" and "The Shield" as well as potential sequels.
This is cool news

make that money Sam...
I'm glad Sam got his deal. And it's nice that they're gonna continue with the "black" Nick Fury, like in the alternate Marvel Universe line.
My question, and you might have blogged on this previously, what's the deal with Terence Howard for Iran Man 2. Is it a done deal and what was the real reason for his ouster, besides the fact Howard is an arogant SOB?
