'He’s totally shirtless. I do this whole thing where I stalk him around him. It’s beautifully filmed. There’s a whole rotation with the cameras and then the other camera’s going in and out from both sides and then we have a crane that comes down and swoops up. It’s shot like a movie but I was talking to him the whole time. At one point, I get up to him, and I say some dialogue to him and he’s looking at me, and there’s this intense look and then I tweaked his nipple. I said, ‘You can’t do anything, can you?’ Then I went…[cups his hands as one would cup a crotch] and he went ‘No!!’ [laughs] Yeah, we had a good time.'John describing this scene with Stephen Amell... Black Voters has Surpassed White Voter turnout
Interesting news, AP reports that Black people out voted White voters in the 2012 elections. The numbers were clear, indicating a change in our nation's racial structure.
Here's more:
Had people voted last November at the same rates they did in 2004, when black turnout was below its current historic levels, Republican Mitt Romney would have won narrowly, according to an analysis conducted for The Associated Press.Also...
Census data and exit polling show that whites and blacks will remain the two largest racial groups of eligible voters for the next decade. Last year's heavy black turnout came despite concerns about the effect of new voter-identification laws on minority voting, outweighed by the desire to re-elect the first black president.
Overall, the findings represent a tipping point for blacks, who for much of America's history were disenfranchised and then effectively barred from voting until passage of the Voting Rights Act in 1965.Times are changing.
But the numbers also offer a cautionary note to both Democrats and Republicans after Obama won in November with a historically low percentage of white supporters. While Latinos are now the biggest driver of U.S. population growth, they still trail whites and blacks in turnout and electoral share, because many of the Hispanics in the country are children or non-citizens.

Foolishness Alert: ESPN's Chris Broussard said: Jason Collins Is Not ‘A Christian’
This is some mess served on a dirty plate. This Chris Broussard had the nerve to say this:
Watch here
Child Cheese, you are a fool for saying that. Seriously, wake up, Chris. This is a new frakking day!
Personally, I don’t believe that you can live an openly homosexual lifestyle or an openly, like premarital sex between heterosexuals. If you’re openly living that type of lifestyle, then the Bible says you know them by their fruits. It says that, you know, that’s a sin. If you’re openly living in unrepentant sin, whatever it may be, not just homosexuality, whatever it maybe, I believe that’s walking in open rebellion to God and to Jesus Christ. So I would not characterize that person as a Christian because I don’t think the bible would characterize them as a Christian.

NBA player Jason Collins comes Out!
NBA player Jason Collins has made history by being the 1st out basketball player.
He comes out through Sports Illustrated, sharing his story and reasons:
I'm a 34-year-old NBA center. I'm black. And I'm gay.
I didn't set out to be the first openly gay athlete playing in a major American team sport. But since I am, I'm happy to start the conversation. I wish I wasn't the kid in the classroom raising his hand and saying, "I'm different." If I had my way, someone else would have already done this. Nobody has, which is why I'm raising my hand.
My journey of self-discovery and self-acknowledgement began in my hometown of Los Angeles and has taken me through two state high school championships, the NCAA Final Four and the Elite Eight, and nine playoffs in 12 NBA seasons. This is so huge right now, so huge. Please read the whole story here
The Jets cut Tim Tebow
Jesus' son was cut from the Jets this morning.
The Jets only said this about the cut:
“Jets waive QB Tim Tebow.”They didn't even talk about his statistics or scores. Very telling about their feeling towards him, I guess.
This must really strike a blow to him and his fans who thought he was the second coming... Oh well.
He can work for Randy Blue and Bound In Public now.

"Our message to SF Pride is that they should make Manning a grand marshal of this year's Pride march and celebration because of his brave act of whistleblowing against the military industrial complex. My thoughts on Bradley Manning/Grand Marshal Drama
Whose bright idea was it to make Bradley a grand marshal of SF Pride? Luckily, it was short-lived and shut down.
Truth be told, I'm not seeing this 'Bradley Manning a hero' thing.
I read many posts and personal blogs, and I can't... I can't. This man leaked thousands files that put many folks in danger. I know he was fighting against DADT, but he could've cost lives or set off a deadly chain reaction of events.
Regardless of how 'hororable' his actions were, it was still foolish and dangerous. Now, some would disagree, but many agree.
Manning is considered disgrace, a traitor and selfish. For example, Stephen Peters, president of American Military Partners Association, said:
"Manning's blatant disregard for the safety of our service members and the security of our nation should not be praised. The group, which advocates for same-sex military families, had called on the Pride Committee to rescind the invitation.Harsh words, but very real.
"No community of such a strong and resilient people should be represented by the treacherous acts that define Bradley Manning,"
I can't see Manning as a hero, I do think he's guilty. Hell, he pleaded guilty. So why would stand for this guy who could've dropped some serious drama our way?
I don't know, if y'all have any opinions on this please share them.

NOM will rally the grassroots base of marriage supporters throughout the country to stand up and defend marriage. We will hold politicians accountable for their decision to abandon their constituents and impose a radical redefinition of marriage on their citizens.
Many politicians voting to redefine marriage will face primaries and re-election campaigns in the coming months and year... and with your help, NOM will be there to remind them—as we reminded five New York State Senators last November—that flipping on marriage will mean looking for a new job!

GOProud Leaders are Stepping Down
Housequake in the Homocon building!
The Stepford Husbands step down from GOProud. Buzzfeed has the scoop:
GOProud, the bombastic group for gay conservatives and their allies, is going to be going through some major changes in the coming months, as the two co-founders, executive director Jimmy LaSalvia and senior strategist Chris Barron, plan to step back from their day-to-day roles with the group as a new executive director is selected."It's time. We don't want it to get stale," LaSalvia said, who along with Barron founded GOProud four years ago as a more conservative, grassroots alternative to the Log Cabin Republicans.
"The reason why GOProud has been so successful is because we have brought new ideas and new energy to the arena. At some point, what was the outside-the-box thinking all of the sudden becomes the box, and so now, that's the way that GOProud does things. It's our box. It seems crazy to everyone else, but, for us, it's like standard operating procedure. It's time for someone else to come in and shake things up," Barron added. They will be on the Board of the Directors but I wonder who take the horrid crowns as the silly leaders of this mess.

Here's one of the times I remember him. He was singing with my favorite Country singer as a kid, Barbara Mandrell

NOM had a Tough Week
This is some of the letter they sent me:
Dear vik,I think NOM's getting scared.
The news this week is tough. I'm not going to sugar coat it.
In Rhode Island, all five Republican state senators joined the Democrats in the state senate to pass a same-sex marriage bill. It now goes back to the House which had previously passed a gay marriage bill and the governor has promised to sign it.
The Rhode Island bill does not create a new category of marriage for same-sex couples. Rather, it completely redefines marriage for all people in Rhode Island.
Some religious liberty protections were added for churches. But as Scott Spear, a NOM Rhode Island Advisory Board member, told the press, "It won't be long before gay 'marriage' activists start pressing hard their new found rights on the faithful in Rhode Island. In Vermont, Christian innkeepers were sued. It was Christian florists in Washington state. Elsewhere photographers, bakers, event venue operators, notary publics, justices of the peace and town clerks have all been targeted for punishment if they do not agree to go along with gay 'marriage' in violation of their deeply-held beliefs."
Man of Steel writer would love to a Wonder Woman film
Interesting news from the Wonder Woman front. Man Of Steel writer David S. Goyer said that he would like to do a Wonder Woman movie. Folks over at ComicBook.com has the story:
During a Reddit Q&A earlier today, David S. Goyer was asked which DC heroes he would like to make a movie about. His answer might surprise you, because it wasn’t Justice League. Instead, David S. Goyer answered, “Hmmm…. Wonder Woman would be cool.”
Me neither, but it's nice to hear that he's into the idea.
When asked why he thought a Wonder Woman movie hadn’t happened yet and who he would want to play her, David S. Goyer responded, “I think Wonder Woman is a very difficult character to crack. More difficult than Superman, who is also more difficult than Batman. Also, a lot of people in Hollywood believe that it’s hard to do a big action movie with a female lead. I happen to disagree with that. But that tends to be the prevailing wisdom. Hopefully, that’ll change in the next few years. Who should play here? No idea…”

Brittney Griner gets an executive Deal with Nike
WNBA's top draft pick Brittney Griner signed an exclusive deal with Nike.
Here's more from SheWired
Endorsements have been a sticking point for some athletes worried about coming out, as lower-tier athletes had previously worried that being gay might deter companies from embracing their image. However Nike made it clear that they would consider endorsing "anyone thinking about becoming the first openly gay athlete in major U.S. team sports — the company wants him as an endorser," according to Rick Welts, an openly gay basketball executive.Congrats, Brittney! Get that money!
Of course there are already a few out lesbian players in the WNBA, but Griner's signing with Nike is yet another signifier that the league is working to innovate a new image (a $12 million ESPN deal and a new logo) that can compete with NBA, and garner a comprarable level of fandom.

Boston Bomber was a Fan of Wingnut Alex Jones
I bet the Wingnuts and the Tea Party will love this.
Boston Bomber, Tamerlan Tsarnaev was a fan of Alex Jones, the conspiracy theorist radio host who lost it on Piers Morgan.
Once Alex heard about this, he said that isn’t all that strange:
“It’s just standard,” Jones said. “Anyone you talk to is familiar with my show. When I go out in public, half the people I meet in this country and in other countries too say they listen to my show. The show is bigger than the mainstream media admits.”
Tamerlan was identified by police as one of the two Boston Marathon bombers, and later killed in a shootout with police overnight on Friday.
Alex Jones said he’s reached out to the Tsarnaev family since the suspects were identified.
“He could be a listener,” Alex Jones said. “It could be true. I’ve talked to the family and most of them are listeners. My show is anti-terrorism and my show exposes that most of the events we’ve seen have been provocateured.”
Tamerlan Tsarnaev reportedly got into Infowars when he was given a copy of The Protocols of the Elders of Zion, an anti-Semitic piece alleges Jewish conspiracy to take over the world.Alex Jones think the efforts to link him to the alleged bomber are a conspiracy in themselves. It will interesting to see if any more wingnuts influenced the bothers

A Body found in the Providence River could be missing Brown student Sunil Tripathi
Cops found a body in the Providence River yesterday. They believe the body could be, Sunil Tripathi, the Brown University student who was falsely identified as the Boston bomber.
Providence police Lieutenant Joseph Donnelly said Monday night that “it’s very, very possible” that the body could be Tripathi’s, but also said authorities will not know for sure until the medical examiner’s office in Providence identifies the body Wednesday morning. Donnelly said Tripathi’s family has not been notified of the body’s recovery.
Donnelly said the body was found in the river behind the Wyndham Garden Providence Hotel at around 6 p.m. The coach of Brown’s rowing team, which practices in that area, saw the body floating in the water and called police, Donnelly said.
Tripathi was last seen in his apartment on Angell Street in Providence around 11 a.m. on March 16.

Interesting Quote: Brian Brown
"It appears that France's socialist government is on the verge of succeeding in their ill-conceived quest to redefine marriage, despite massive grassroots opposition from the citizenry. We urge all French citizens to contact lawmakers to express their strong opposition to this policy. We also call on all citizens to conduct themselves honorably and peacefully. Even though the same-sex marriage policy being foisted on an unwilling public is profoundly unwise and anti-family, no citizen should ever express their disapproval through violent means. We condemn in the strongest possible terms violence by anyone on either side of this debate.
If the government of France does succeed with this vote to redefine marriage, it will not be the end of the debate. It will be time to hold the government accountable and to act to restore marriage to its rightful place as a good and honorable institution that brings husbands and wives together to provide children with both a mother and a father. NOM will continue to work with our friends in France to defend marriage as our most important social institution.
Specifically, NOM is working with the Collectif Famille Mariage (CFM), a charter member of the International Organization for Marriage (IOM). CFM—along with a wide coalition of pro-marriage organizations—is imploring France's Constitutional Council to carefully study and limit the scope of this law, which has been rushed through the Senate and the National Assembly.”

In Defense of Halle Berry's Storm Costume
Okay, I get it. Folks ain't feeling Halle Berry's Storm look at all. But let's take a moment to really think about the costume.
Remember, Storm looked like this during the Days of Future Past.
That look was far from glamorous. Ororo wore this concentration camp suit in the original series. So this movie outfit is a bit better and it fits with the plot.
And most of you know the story, right? They are in the middle of an apocalyptic/ Terminator wasteland; ain't nobody running around in colorful costumes. In fact, if Bryan Singer is following the storyline, all heroes were captured and killed. To draw less attention to themselves, they wore these outfits. What Halle's wearing may be the reflection of the bleak future. So, I give the look a PASS, because the look matches the story.
No one during that time looked good.
Is Gumroad Discriminating against Gay Erotic Writer Dale Lazarov?
Hey gay comic fans, I got some foolishness to tell you about. A buddy of mine, Dale Lazarov is a profound writer of gay erotica. Some of you may know of his works, but if you don't, please check him out.
Anywho, here's the story. Dale was selling his graphic novel, STICKY on a comic site called Gumroad. Days later, Dale received this letter…
hey,Interesting, as if bankers and other partners are not gay or enjoy some skin from time to time. Dale called them out over selling another erotic book called Smut Peddler.
i’m sahil – i work at gumroad.
i just wanted to reach out and say that i don’t think the stuff you’re selling on gumroad is a good fit for us at the moment. we’re a small, early company and we have to stay on the safe side in terms of the things that we allow on our platform. as we work with banks and other partners, we have to be pretty conservative, as they are.
we’ll keep your account going for 14 days so you get paid out fully. that should be enough time for you to find another provider.
hopefully our short terms losses lead to long term gains and we become a really good fit for you again.
best and sorry about all of this,
i hope you understand,
Sahil @ Gumroadgumroad.com // @gumroad // on Facebook”
He said:
Dear Gumroad:
Why, if you have been selling SMUT PEDDLER for months, which is as explicit and often as gay as my comics, did you cancel distribution of mine in less than a month?
If you sell SMUT PEDLER for months but you dump mine in weeks, even after you tell me I am a big seller and pester me with marketing questions days earlier... What do I make of you dumping my comic?
EXPLAIN TO ME: How is SMUT PEDDLER a "good fit" but my comics aren't?
Sincerely, Dale LazarovOnce they were put on blast, Gumroad responded with:
We do not discriminate in any way based on orientation of content on Gumroad, our TOS is purely based on restricting sales of illicit content because we do not have an age-restriction feature, which is required to protect sellers from minors purchasing content of this type.Well, Gumroad, can you explain why this happened? Why single out STICKY and claim it wasn't a good fit? And what's a GOOD FIT?
However once the smoke (somewhat) cleared, SMUT PEDLER was removed from their list.
Very interesting trail of events. I think this story is just getting started.
In France: Parliament legalizes Marriage Equality
All that protesting against gay marriage in France, and NOM's foolishness in Paris was a bust. The deputies in the National Assembly legalized gay marriage today. In a vote of 331-225, the bill passed!
The most noted part of this historic event was when the Speaker told the anti-gay protesters in hall: "Get these enemies of democracy outside parliament!"
Yesss! I would have said it too, but like this, in the X-Men cartoon Storm voice "Get these demons of bigotry out of the Halls of Equality!"
Yeah, that's a bit much.
A Dad walks Across America in honor of his Gay Son
When Joe Bell lost his gay son to suicide, he knew he had to do something about it. So he quit his job and started a 5000 mile walking tour in hopes to stop bullying.
Here's more:
Joe Bell says it'll take two years to walk 5,000 miles, at a rate of 15 to 25 miles a day, and make it to the East Coast. He set out Saturday.Joe will be walking through the southern states, and will hit the east coast with a special stop in New York City.
He and his 15-year-old son, Jadin, had gone to a counselor to report the bullying before the high school sophomore from La Grande hanged himself in a schoolyard Jan. 19. The teenager died two weeks later.
The youth had been open about being gay.
The school and family haven't released details of the bullying or confirmed a connection between that and his suicide.
Bell resigned from his longtime job with Boise Cascade to make his walk, which he'll do on two artificial knees. The replacement surgery was done in 2010.
"I needed a break. I was ready, I was looking for something different," he told the La Grande Observer when he announced plans for the trek. "I just wish, however, that I was doing this under different circumstances."
Along the way, he plans to speak at schools and other venues, and emphasize the importance of speaking up against bullying. He has set up a foundation, Faces for Change, to promote anti-bullying programs.
It's where he son, Jadin, wanted to live his life.

“If we hope to close one of the last closets in America, I would call upon the NFL to be proactive and align with an LGBTQ organization, something that it has not done publicly yet. When the NFL does take such action, maybe players will be more at liberty to feel not only that they can be themselves at the workplace, but also that their employer has their best interest at heart and not just the bottom line. I would even argue that profits would increase if there were a gay player on the roster. At the end of the day, I have played with several gay athletes in my tenure with the NFL. I just didn’t know it!”

Dzhokhar Tsarnaev Charged
From HuffPo
The 19-year-old accused of carrying out the bombing at the Boston Marathon -- one of two suspected in last week's incident -- has been charged with use of a weapon of mass destruction and malicious destruction of property resulting in a death.
If convicted of the federal charges, Dzhokhar Tsarnaev could be sentenced to death or spend the rest of life in prison. His older brother and alleged bombing accomplice Tamerlan Tsarnaev was killed Friday during a shootout with police in Watertown.
A court magistrate came to his hospital room for the arraignment on charges stemming from the double bombing that killed three and wounded more than 200 people.
Tsarnaev was reportedly shot in the throat before his arrest Friday in Watertown, Mass.
Earlier today, the FBI said that he "remains in serious condition" at Beth Israel hospital in Boston.

Montana Senate Bill 107 Decriminalizes Gay Sex
Montana Gov. Steve Bullock signed the Senate Bill 107 last week. What's so special about it? Well, this bill decriminalizing gay sex.
The Governor said:
"I am not going to speak too long because, frankly, the longer I talk, the longer this embarrassing and unconstitutional law stays on the books," Bullock said.Congrats Montana!
The victory, though a powerful one for the gay community in Montana, is highly symbolic with no tangible benefits aside from striking the obsolete law condemning gay sex from Montana code. The outdated code has not been used to prosecute individuals for years. And previous efforts to offer gays and lesbians protection under the law, including a push to prohibit civil discrimination, have been thwarted by a GOP-controlled Legislature.

Mamas, Don't Let Your Babies Grow Up to be Russell 'Hollywood' Simpson: An Open Letter
Russell 'Hollywood' Simpson...
I hope you have been thinking about your actions lately. This whirlwind of trashy media posts and speculation always brings out the messiness in urban bloggers and so-called social media gurus, however it has also brought out the worst in you as well.
Do you even know what's really being said about you? Are you aware of how you look to the masses? Well, I will tell you. You look like a fool, a bitter queen who watched way too many CW TV shows and read more than two books by Zane.
Why would you go on horrid gossip sites to tell your 'story' and hope to be taken seriously? Yes, they are loving you now because you're giving them traffic and a lot dumb ass comments, but what you don't see is how you have become a messy, messy gay.
A terrible person, to say the least.
You knew what you were getting into: A closeted man with a high profile career. You knew how this was going to play out. If you didn't you should have at least thought about it. Right now, you are beyond reasoning. The way you're handling this tells more about you than anything else. What we all see is a newly born attention seeker and a horrible one at that.
In someways, you are the mythical gay Boogeyman. You are the fear to some gay men about relationships, intimacy and trust. And then you're the sad case of foolishness. You had no problems taking his money, going on these trips and excepting his gifts. No, you had no problem being on the DL then. But when he decided to leave you, the problem starts?
Child cheese, you had a problem once the money stopped. Now you're selling your ass to the highest bidder, hoping to get 15 minutes for your stupidity. You are NOT a victim, you are the loser. I hope this 'fame' gives you some self-esteem, because after this mess blows over you will be forever known as the childish queen who took advantage of a sad situation. Kerry is not an angel in this mess, but you could've been the one who took the high road... But you didn't.
So enjoy this 6 minutes of fame, Russell and don't be surprised if you're shaded from the community. No one wants to be around someone who can easily and stab them in back for a few posts on blogs. Face it, Russell; you have earned this Bitter Gold Digging Trade crown.
Now take your place in the Hall of Shame and twirl on that.

Three Months Single, What have I learned
I have been single for almost three months and it has been a good thing.
I say that because I have learned and faced some of my faults and issues about relationships. My ex didn't feel loved and sensed that I was going in a different direction. And he was right, I was. He became a security blanket, something that I took for granted. I love him, but I wasn't in love with him as much as I used to be.
That's tough to say, but I had to say it. I knew it and I refused to believe it. I guess I thought you stick it out and things get better. But that's not the way to handle a relationship. I'm not mad at him, disappointed, but not mad. I want us to be friends and I want him to find happiness.
As for me, I am rediscovering myself. I'm loosening some of moral hang-ups and being open to different types of experiences. I'm also being honest about what I want.
This time alone has made me realize a few things. I have to take risk if I want to get the prize. Right now, the prize isn't a guy; it's the solid understanding of myself. The bitter with the sweet, the bad with the good. That is what I'm fighting for at the moment.
A better me will lead to better things.

A resident had gone outside to smoke and noticed a tarp on the boat was flapping, a relative told NBC News. When he went to investigate, he saw what looked like a curled-up person and bloody clothes.President Obama addressed the nation about the capture
The man "freaked out," ran into the house and called police, the relative said.
Thermal imaging from helicopters confirmed there was a person in the boat, officials said.
Over the course of two hours, several bursts of gunfire could be heard. The police exchanged fire with Tsarnaev, threw flash-bang grenades designed to disorient him and brought a negotiator to the scene as night fell, officials said.
Just before 9 p.m., the wounded Tsarnaev was taken into custody. "He sustained significant blood loss," a law enforcement official at the scene said.
There are a lot of questions about Dzhokhar and the reasons why he did this. I'm sure by this weekend, we will have an idea.
Watch the Boston Police Press Conference after the jump. Glad this is over... I hope

John Legend, Can you can take the "DL" Rapper out of your New HBO Drama Project? I don't want to see him!
I just read on Deadline, that John Legend is developing a show called "Down Lo", here's the premise:
In a competitive situation, HBO has bought for development Down Lo, a drama project from singer-songwriter John Legend and producer-director Tony Krantz. Set in Miami’s South Beach, the edgy ensemble drama explores the intersection of three worlds — the party town’s popular music scene and sports and fashion circles. It deals with fame and secrets, with the stories told from multiple points of view. One of them will be that of a gay rapper living on the down low as homosexuality is still not readily accepted in the hip-hop community.Oh so original, once again we are given the 'Gay Mammy Role' as being DL. Seriously, I'm sick of anything that speaks on the DL drama. Come on now! Can a gay brother get a non DL Black gay character? Please?
This is why I am so over anything that pushes the DL storyline. It's a lazy go-to idea, like casting Blondes as the damsel in distress and the Black or Latino male as a crimelord or gangbanger. And it perpetuate the notion that the DL life is so fascinating.
Trust me, it's not.
I can not understand why anyone would continue to think a DL storyline is interesting. Hell, why would you want to be reminded of a dark time of your life?
Yes, please give me more stories about the days when I hated myself.
If this character turns out to be the stereotypical Black Gay character, then you can keep that character and this show!
Ain't nobody got time for that!
