Former Senator Rick Santorum of Pennsylvania will announce today that he is suspending his bid for the Republican Party’s presidential nomination, a person close to the campaign said.
Santorum planned a news conference in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania this afternoon.
Santorum has trailed former Governor Mitt Romney of Massachusetts in primary contests for the delegates needed for their party’s nomination. Santorum’s home state of Pennsylvania will hold a primary election on April 24.

"good riddance" indeed. He knew he couldn't win PA if he tried. PA got rid of this loser years ago and don't want him back.
