My take on getting LGBT needs met

Many LGBT peeps have been complaining about getting our agenda out of stand-by.

Well, we actually have the power to change that.

If we are going to be serious about this, here are some ideas we can take into consideration.
  1. Create a list of LGBT supportive candidates in the nation. We may need to rate them and see where they truly stand on the issues.
  2. Invite them to speak in many LGBT events as possible. The people need to see and hear these candidates.
  3. Truly know their stance on all LGBT issues.
  4. Challenge our current senators on their LGBT support. If they are not delivering, let them know.
  5. Start gathering lobbyist groups and get them ready to push our agenda.
  6. Start working with other groups like labor unions, minority groups and such. If we can team with other powerful groups, we could be unstoppable.
  7. We need to write and call our current congressman! Flood them with our concerns and make them see our rights are highly important.
Just some of my thoughts. If you have any ideas, please share.
