Not loving it at first look. Not loving the typeface, a little too Copperplate Gothic, but I kinda like the the concept of simulating the TARDIS.

From a design standpoint, I think it's very clever, using the initials to create the Tardis. But I don't feel it represents the show.

I'm not feeling the connection of this design with the show. I think it is well conceived graphically, but it doesn't make you feel anything.

Unfortunately I think that the design may well indeed represent the new direction of the show. I'm assuming this new logo is meant to go with the new Doctor. Which looks graphically like the direction will be very different than it was in the past.

The old Doctor Who had a sense of history and class while this new logo feels young, slick and advanced. It makes me think that the inside of the Tardis will lose the Steampunk feel and end up looking a lot more like Star Trek Next Generation.

Hopefully they aren't skewing this new doctor thing too young or else I may not be interested. One of the great things about the Doctor was that it was good, smart, adult fun. If they turn the show into a 90210 meets any ScYfY movie of the week...then Buh Bye for me!!
