Harry Connick Jr. calls out a Blackface Performance

I'm glad he addressed this

I REALLY hate the label crap BTW... I can't put Harry Connick Jr in the label post

Harry Connick Jr did his mama and and our nation proud. He stated his opinion honestly, openly and respectfully without placing judgement on the host country.

And you have to give the host/producers credit for realizing this was a "teachable moment".

You have got to be kidding me? People are really BOLD in their racism lately. BOLD.

I don't even understand why people find it funny? If there was a point to it fair enough. I hate it when people go "well people shouldn't be so sensitive, it's just a bit of fun".

These are people who obviously have no idea about the cultural and historical weight that blackface has. There are 50 million other ways to express yourself through art, do you really HAVE to use blackface?
