Revealing Brandon McInerney

Brandon McInerney is the young man responsible for the horrible death of Lawrence King. If you don't know, McInerney, 14, shot King, 15, because he was gay.

Since then, it has been a back and forth blame fest from the parents to the school, and policies of the district. So far McInerney will be tried as an adult on a murder count, plus a hate crime allegation. Now as the investigation continues, investigators found some interesting items in McInerney's possession.

In his room they found white supremacist literature and drawings depict racist skinhead philosophy by Tom Metzger and David Lane, two well known white supremacists. At this time, it doesn't hold much weight, but it supports the hate crime charge. McInerney 's family are shocked because Brandon had a racially diverse group of friends.

McInerney's attorney, Deputy Public Defender William Quest, said that Brandon was writing a school paper on Adolf Hitler. He also shared an interest in the German military.

Whether that's true or not, I hope someone is reaching out to Brandon. He should be punished, but he needs help. I don't know if he realizes the damage that's been done, but I hope he getting counseling. It's so hard to look at this through an unbiased lens. I want him to learn from this, but I'm not sure how he should be punished. This is actually a tough one for me.

Unfortunately, I think his life is over. At that age a person does know right from wrong but the youth factor and no experience on how to act and respond to opinions that differ from himself, got in the way of his thinking. At that age being macho and having it challenged made him think he needed to show everyone that he wasn't gay by punishing the other boy. These are still sad times when a culture teaches a boy that his only option to an advance from another boy is to kill him.

Brandon's best friends at school were black and Hispanic.

Doesn't surprise me one bit. I know people like that. They think that all immigrants are scum or whatever - then when you point out that some of their best friends, that they've known since kindergarten, are immigrants, you always get the same retarded reply, 'Well, they're not like that, they're different! It's the other ones I'm talking about.' Gag me with a spoon.

Throw this kid in jail, he will never amount to anything.
