More Black Americans are "Evolving"

In an ABC News/Washington Post poll, Black folks are slowly changing their minds on gay marriage.

Check this out
One notable difference is by race. Just 41 percent of African-Americans supported gay marriage in ABC/Post polls in mid-2011 and early 2012. Yet 54 percent express a favorable view of his position on the issue in this poll – suggesting that, for some, allegiance to Obama may have prompted a rethink on the issue itself.
Also, more Black leaders and celebrities are coming out in support of gay marriage. Hopefully, more minds are inspired to change.

All it takes is for one person to make a courageous stand for justice and others will become enlightened.

It's about time considering I have spent so much time convincing friends and family how much of a non-issue this truly is.

I agree with all the comments so far.

The President is showing what a real leader can do and President Obama really made the case that we're no different from everybody else and that we deserve the same rights as everyone else.

That's quite remarkable, as he's the first President in modern history to do so.
