UPDATE: Kobe Bryant is fined $100,000 for his F-Bomb

From NBA Commissioner David Stern:
“Kobe Bryant’s comment during last night’s game was offensive and inexcusable. While I’m fully aware that basketball is an emotional game, such a distasteful term should never be tolerated. Accordingly, I have fined Kobe $100,000. Kobe and everyone associated with the NBA know that insensitive or derogatory comments are not acceptable and have no place in our game or society.”

Now, put Kobe on camera so he can apologize to the public

No wonder why no gay professional athletes in this country will come out with assholes like this!
BTW there is no formal apology that I know or heard of.

I'm very laid back and easy going. I like to meet people, read, talk about politics, culture and life. I am a huge comic book fan (X-Men family and Wonder Woman) I also want to say that I am a proud black gay man...no 'down low' drama here
