I had to say again. Thank God for Keith. Yes he is pissed, and so am I.
An excellent speech. However, he may be wrong about the capacity of non-violent protest to change the direction of this government. Its transformation may require nothing less than a full-blown revolution.
It's past time to get the asses of the masses out into the fucking streets!
No wonder most cable companies won't add Current TV to the list.
I love that he's unleashed now. He can say it like it really is.
And the boycott thing, I have a proposal. You might like this one too.
Commit to one month of not using your car. Leave it parked. Take a bus, subway, bike, or even walk or use a combination thereof.
If we all did it for one month the oil companies would be on their knees.
And think of the benefits of doing so. The money you'd spend on gas and maintenance is saved, the effects on your health are great, and overall it would help us break the back of one giant corporate leach.
I'm irate over this.
This vid was heaven. Keith said what I felt.
I love Tony's idea no driving idea, but I don't drive, so it would be pretty easy on me. The connection, the power of the group is what really matters in his idea.
