"I'm sorry my comments were hurtful. I'm a comedian, not a politician."Oh come on, Adam. This is not enough. What you said could have really hurt someone. I think you can do better than that.
This actually sucks because I kinda liked Adam's act.

I don't get the Bert and Ernie thing. It's been a running joke forever. But to my knowledge the characters aren't even adults, let alone sexually aware. Same as any of the other puppets on Sesame Street. (The Muppets is a different story that was more of an all ages thing.) You may have human married couples on the show, but to my knowledge none of the muppets are. Nor do any of them pursue relationships beyond friendship. So why is there this need to sexualize Bert and Ernie? And why must any group that coins themselves LGBT get lumped in as if we all signed off on their agenda. If you wanna add a human gay couple to the show that's one thing. But leave Bert an Ernie alone. Get your own bottle cap collection or rubber ducky and go play.
One is only a comedian if one creates comedy.
I don't find this shocking at all. I was appalled when he made a tranny joke during the first episode of The Car Show and I've turned away from him since.
Does he think only Politicians have to be humans. Incredible.
