It looks way different from the original - but I'll go see it! Like I mentioned before - I'm not too keen on the casting of Charlie Brewster - he looks too old for the role!
I like that it's different enough that I would entertain seeing it. I feel like it wouldn't just be a retread. The characters roles are different too, Charlie isn't the geeky guy who loves B-Horror schlock it seems. Which was something that helped me identify with Charlie. Nice to see the geek be the hero and a brave hero at that, ah well. His girlfriend wasn't obviously sexy or putting out, until you saw her vamped out. This is obviously not the case with this girlfriend. We'll see! I'm surprised they don't have the familiar in this for the Vamp. It would have been interesting for them to masquerade as a gay couple to help cover their tracks. (Which is what it looked like in the first movie!)
Viktor is a small town southern boy living in Los Angeles. You can find him on Twitter, writing about pop culture, politics, and comics. He’s the creator of the graphic novel StrangeLore and currently getting back into screenwriting.
