Rep. Alcee Hastings wrote a letter to President Obama reminding him to get on DADT. Alcee is “deeply disappointed” that DADT has not been repealed.
But I wonder, is Alcee involved with Patrick Murphy and the others working the repeal? I'm sensing that there's a disconnect somewhere.
If one group is working on the tedious pieces of the law and others are just writing letters, should these folks get together somewhere down the line? Is Alcee even involved in the overall all process? Writing letters to the president ain't cutting it, honey. You have to get into the groove with the others folks working on the policy. I'm not understanding this letter writing thing.
Alcee said that he hasn't heard a response. Well, maybe if you quit passing notes and get to work, maybe some of your questions can be answer.
Alcee, a turkey don't get cooked by just writing down the ingredients, you need to get into the kitchen and start seasoning the meat.

WELL DAMN...SOMEBODY WROTE THAT! LOL OKAY!
I like the "turkey don't get cooked by just writing down the ingredients, you need to get into the kitchen and start seasoning the meat," I am going to borrow it. And you are absolutely right. His letter campaign business sounds more to me, like he wants to press the issue behind doors, but abstain from legislating against it.
