Is there such a thing as too gay? We live in a very different world than we grew up in, so if people can’t embrace that aspect of our show, then that’s a shame. I certainly don’t think it’s specifically gay, but our show ticks a lot of boxes for a lot of people. We have an incredibly broad audience, one of the widest demographics in terms of sexuality and age groups, so obviously we’re doing something right.Stephen talks to The Advocate about True Blood being "Too Gay"

I think "too gay" is a phrase that was invented in the 00s by a segment of the gay community who wasn't comfortable with being as fabulous as we really are. Nothing can be too gay. Except maybe Chris Cocker on a Britney binge, but I still love him. :)
Funny you never hear about people being "too straight."
WTF does that even mean?
There are flamboyantly gay men and there are very masculine gay men, and all the ranges in between.
Too gay?
Not possible.
Too narrow-minded?
Definitely.
Bill has gotten handsomer. If this show is too gay I don't see it. Being gay is no different from being straight.
