Today, the GOP announced their choices for the Ultimate deficit committee.
And they are:
Senate side - Sens. Jon Kyl (R-Ariz.)
Pat Toomey (R-Pa.)
Rob Portman (R-Ohio)
House side - Reps. Dave Camp (R-Mich.)
Fred Upton (R-Mich.)
Jeb Hensarling (R-Texas)
Jon Kyl is an asshole and has been a Tea Party lover for awhile. And all 6 of these bastards have signed a pledge to Grover Norquist's Americans for Tax Reform. This pledge states that they won't vote to raise taxes at all cost. So you know, it's going to be a battle in this group.

It won't be a battle. The GOP digs its heels and the Dems cave in. I expect more of the same with this group.
