He is truly is a legend in the Black and Gay world. He was out, proud and inspiring.
What he started can never be copied and he will forever live as a Disco pioneer.

I was bopping my head to Disco Heat just the other day. Honey, he and Grace Jones served fierce androgyny back in the day.
He was awesome - i remember seeing the video for ...You make me Feel - and fell in love with the song! I also at that time had an idea he was gay, but was not 100% sure what that meant - either way he is an icon.
I also did a post on the Top 10 Gay Anthem of all time and Sylvester topped my countdown - so awesome!
