In Arizona: Tucson approves civil unions for same-sex couples
Someone fan me, I almost fainted.
Last night, the City Council of Tucson, Arizona approved domestic partnerships and civil unions for same-sex couples. No, this is not a trick or a hoax... Arizona, yes, this happened.
The measure was approved 6-0. Now, if they can work on their immigration drama.

The Tucson/Gila area is like Berlin back when it was in the middle of what was once communist East Germany, but it's still great news.
