First Lady Michelle Obama & Beyonce team up to fight Childhood Obesity

Beyonce and First Lady Michelle Obama joined forces to fight Childhood Obesity with a new and cute video campaign.
According to Hip-Hop Wired, the National Association of Broadcasters Education Foundation will head-up a special "Let's Move! Flash Workout" featuring Beyonce. Middle school students all across the nation are scheduled to dance in unison on Tuesday, May 3, at 1:42 p.m. Eastern Time.

"I am excited to be part of this effort that addresses a public health crisis. First Lady Michelle Obama deserves credit for tackling this issue directly, and I applaud the NAB Education Foundation for trying to make a positive difference in the lives of our schoolchildren," said Beyonce in a statement.

What song will have kids in all 50 states dancing? We'll have to just wait and see. I wouldn't be surprised if it was "Get Me Bodied." Either way, it's great to see Mrs. Obama get a little help in fighting the child obesity epidemic in America.

This is exciting and it is great to see Bey use her celebrity powers for good.

I think this is great. Kids do need to be more active, and get away from sitting in front of their laptops or texting. Maybe I'm a bit cynical, but I'm pretty sure that Rush Limbaugh and/or Sarah Palin, and/or Glenn Beck will put a negative spin on it. Anyday now

That's a worthy cause! Eating healthy is fun and challenging but it's so worth it!
