Interesting Quote: Lynda Carter

"A cameo is kind of a broad word. As they say: "There are no small parts, there are only small actors". If it's something that is gratuitous I won't do it; if it's just for me to show up in it I wouldn't do it, but if there is something written that they think would be appropriate then most definitely I'd consider it. I would love it."

Lynda's opinion on being in the Wonder Woman movie

The world doesn't appreciate Ms. Carter's accomplishment as WW.
She did fill out that costume in a truly superhuman way, but much more than that, she made WW seem plausible as a character. Because she never winked ironically but also never took it too seriously, she brought WW to life and saved the whole show from being completely ridiculous.
That animated sparkle in her eye in the first season opening credits was redundant. Light was already coming out of her.
Anyone who can make something like this work has real superpowers:

I had the pleasure of meeting her many years ago and she was as nice as she is beautiful (and she is 10x more beautiful in person.)

That being said, if someone is offering her a part in a WW movie, it is only because she was WW.

How could she not play Hippolyta!

She totally should play Hippolyta, but judging from other such movies (Clash of the Titans, Thor, hell- the original Superman), they will go for a big name 'serious actor' who isn't above doing some slumming for a paycheck.
I bet they ask Judi Dench.
