U.S. judge rules Nebraska's Gay Marriage Ban Unconstitutional

Well, hey Nebraska.

U.S. District Judge Joseph Bataillon ruled that Nebraska's ban on gay marriage is unconstitutional.
He issued a preliminary injunction, calling Nebraska's ban an "unabashedly gender-specific infringement of the equal rights of its citizens." I like that, BTW.

Judge Bataillon denied a state request to stay his decision, but lawyers for the state said they would seek a stay in the 8th Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals.

More to come on this awesome story.
