Who is Krampus?

Krampus is the Santa's other half. When children were really bad, they not only got a lump of coal in their stocking, but Krampus came to get them.

Krampus would either spank them with branches or lock them up in a cave. He's a part of the Santa folklore, but he's not talked about a lot. Mostly because he's too scary for youngsters, but I love the story and this particular pic.

So, if you are bored, google Krampus.

That is fascinating. I can think of a few people who need a visit from this dude.

The legend of Krampus comes from the northern Alpine countries; and Krampus takes the naughty children to his cave to eat them. He's my hero.
And that is one bitchin' picture of him!

Interesting how like a Demon or Devil Krampus appears.

I think the Catholic church did adopt Krampus as the embodiment of Azmodeus, Beelzebub, The Devil, you know, all the allegedly evil ones.
