Mississippi Church finally Apologizes for refusing a Black Couple to Marry in its Sanctuary

I can understand why the couple would be upset. But another part of me would walk up to the front of the church during service and say, "Thank you! Thank you for letting me know that you claim to be Christian's and truly aren't. Thank you for letting me know that you never truly accepted or considered me and my fiance as members of your church. And thank you for giving me the opportunity to take my strength, courage, wisdom and tithes somewhere else where they will be appreciated."

Why should the church even apologize? They don't mean it. They aren't going to start liking black people over night. We need to stop fighting for these kind of folks acceptance or approval. Move on to better people and thank them for being honest with you so you don't waste anymore of your precious time or emotion.
