I'll watch this to see the great Alfre Woodard as Ouiser, but I'm not expecting it to match the magic of the original. By the way, Alfre has a film coming out next year - the title escapes me - that has Oscar potential. Would love to see her finally win.
Im probably gonna get hate mail for this - but why did a black version of Steel Magnolias have to be made?
It's an interesting idea but it STILL a remake.
No originality left in H-Wood.
