USADA confirmed late Thursday it will strip him of all results since Aug. 1, 1998 and ban him from competition for life. Armstrong said his decision did not mean he would accept USADA's sanctions. His lawyers threatened a lawsuit if USADA proceeded, arguing the agency must first resolve a dispute with the International Cycling Union over whether the case should be pursued.Wow, just wow.
"It is a sad day for all of us who love sport and our athletic heroes," USADA CEO Travis Tygart said. "This is a heartbreaking example of how the win-at-all-costs culture of sport, if left unchecked, will overtake fair, safe and honest competition."

Guilty or not, it is a sad day for the world of sport. The only redeeming aspect of this entire episode is that it sends a clear message to future athletes that this type of behavior, whether it actually happened or not, will not be tolerated.
His titles were always in question. Just about all of the top cyclists in Lance's era were busted for various performance enhancing drugs or methods so this is not surprising.
Maybe he should have given that some dick and he would not have told on him....
