A Sunny Day in Arizona

We all know Arizona is just plum crazy. But this weekend, they kind of won some cool points.

A few days ago, in Prescott, AZ, Miller Valley Elementary School presented their "Go on Green" mural, which advertised a campaign about the environment. The mural has a multicultural theme to it, with a Latino boy as the main feature.

Well as soon as the mural was revealed, silly racist folks start harping on the mural. R.E. Wall, director of Prescott's Downtown Mural Project, said:
"We consistently, for two months, had people shouting racial slander from their cars," Wall said. "We had children painting with us, and here come these yells of (epithet for Blacks) and (epithet for Hispanics)."
Then the drama started:

Good, he deserved to be fired for his foolishness. However, there something else that happened this weekend.
See here:

This gave me some hope about Arizona.
