It seems that today's Broadway musicals are either Grammy winning CDs or odes to musical entertainers.
So, I thought I would share my ideas on possible CDs to make into musicals.
Ricky Martin- Ricky Martin: This musical could be about a young Latino man coming out in the 1980s
Lil Kim - Hardcore: This story could be created around a teen girl trying to survive in the mean streets of Hunts Point in the Bronx.
N.W.A. - Straight Outta Compton: Four boys living in South Central, Los Angeles.
Dep Leppard- Hysteria: A coming of age story of a boy in some Mid-Western town.
U2 - The Joshua Tree: The songs in this great album could give us any story.
Janet Jackson - Rhythm Nation 1814: This musical could be about racial injustice
Any ideas?
