Good News, Bad News: The Matthew Shepard Hate Crimes Prevention Act

Good News: The Matthew Shepard Act passed yesterday

Bad News: The Act is linked to a $1.75 billion in funding for F-22 fighter jets which Obama and SoD, Robert oppose of. This could also lead to a veto, which will possibly lead into more foolish "Hate on Obama" attacks.

He just can't catch a break.

"He just can't catch a break."

Maybe HE should actually do something he promised us and he'd actually catch that break. So far our greatest friend has been Congress.

Mike, he is doing something he promised. However, he's trying to do it right. So in the words of Eric B. and Rakim..."You Gots to Chill"

Correction: President Obama is doing things the political way.

If someone "hates" on him for veto-ing this bill, then they just choose not to look at the larger picture, which is foolish.

I like the way you put that Mr Garcia. Well said. I despise this way they have of control for bills and things. This sort of tactic in legislating our government feels somehow dishonest. Which is somewhat frightening knowing how much corruption is traditionally inherent in government to begin with.
