My friend, 'Boy from Ohio', told me to take a risk with gay social media and join something completely out of my comfort zone.
So, I joined Bear 411.
I'm a little wary of this but I made sure my profile conveyed what I'm looking for... FRIENDS. I do need more friends outside of my usual group and it would be good for me to meet new people.
So, here goes nothing... or something.

I left my comfort zone back in 2005 for a gay dating site that was little more than a hook up site. Even though I wrote, "Looking for friends only" the responses I got were for far less than that. However, I did meet a couple of guys who remained friends and are still friends today. Hope for the best, but don't be disappointed in the results.
