So many of us are curious to know how Romney took the loss. I've found an article that gives us a few ideas on this matter.
CBS News reports:
Romney was stoic as he talked to the president, an aide said, but his wife Ann cried. Running mate Paul Ryan seemed genuinely shocked, the adviser said. Ryan's wife Janna also was shaken and cried softly.I found it interesting that Romney's campaign did not look at the polls. They too, were shocked about the loss. But I can't help but to think how silly they were to ignore the facts and bank on big money and White voters.
"There's nothing worse than when you think you're going to win, and you don't," said another adviser. "It was like a sucker punch."
Their emotion was visible on their faces when they walked on stage after Romney finished his remarks, which Romney had hastily composed, knowing he had to say something.
Both wives looked stricken, and Ryan himself seemed grim. They all were thrust on that stage without understanding what had just happened.
"He was shellshocked," one adviser said of Romney.
Maybe this is the 'loss' Romney needed to snap him back into reality. The campaign wasn't his, it was his donors, the Tea Party and far Right Wing politics and because of that, he loss BIG!

He lost big and he deserved that fate. Rather than remain true to his country, he abandoned reason in following the dollar sign.
Like you, I hope Mr. Romney learned from this experience. But with a healthy dose of cynicism, I really don't expect he will.
I don't feel sorry for Romney. He can go back to exploiting tax loopholes and no one can stop him or ask about his returns anymore.
A true blow to his ego...
I almost feel sorry for him, the keyword is almost.
Oh well, that is over. Now we need to get back to working on this nation's economy.
I don't feel sorry for him one bit. He's an arrogant ass who only thinks of himself and his money. The campaign was horribly managed from the start and was immediately clear no one in the Romney camp had a clue about what they were doing.
The fact that Romney only prepared and acceptance speech and had his transition website up (though very briefly) shows the disconnect started from the top down. The complete incompetence started at the top and was the only thing that trickled down.
I an so glad this Simon Says prick lost after a woman called Obama a Muslim and he said nothing. Good riddance.
