The controversy around this ad could potentially go for any religious organization promotion or commercial. Especially since the people who are offended by this group for being non-inclusive of GLBT, would be ok with commercials by groups who are inlcusive of GLBT. But then the folks who are against that and supported the first commercial would be offended. Is the solution not to air any religious commercials at all?
I saw this during the game and even my BFF, who attends church, was pissed off. All we talked about for the next five minutes was the separation of football from politics and religion.
