BIG Sex Scandal at Penn State!

Most of you know I work at USC (Southern California). So it was only natural the news about Penn State would be running wild here.

Now, I know we had our share of drama and scandals; but I hope we never have a scandal like this:
Joe Paterno, one of most successful coaches in college football history, was fired Wednesday night by the Penn State Board of Trustees amid an ongoing child-abuse scandal involving one of his former assistant coaches.

University president Graham Spanier was also fired.

Paterno, who announced earlier Wednesday his intention to retire at the end of his 46th season with the Nittany Lions, has been the center of criticism for failing to contact authorities in 2002 after being told a graduate assistant saw former assistant coach Jerry Sandusky assaulting a boy in a school shower.
Sandusky was arrested Saturday and has been accused of molesting eight boys over a 15-year period. He has denied the accusations.

Defensive coordinator Tom Bradley will serve as interim coach.
In a statement released before his firing on Wednesday, Paterno expressed remorse for the victims and regretted not doing more to stop the alleged incidents.

"This is a tragedy," Paterno said. "It is one of the great sorrows of my life. With the benefit of hindsight, I wish I had done more."
In hindsight? Tell that to the boys who were sexually assaulted.

So far four Penn State employees have been fired. Number five better be fired today. That Graduate Assistant coach who allegedly saw Jerry Sandusky raping the 10-year-old in the showers in 2002 needs to be fired. Why didn't he rush into the showers and rescue that boy? Why didn't he call the police?

It gets worse. Mark Madden, who works at a Pittsburgh radio station, is now reporting that Sandusky allegedly pimped out kids to rich boosters.

This is also the same guy who allegedly outed Kordell Stewart so I'm reserving judgment until it's proven true.

This whole thing was a big cover up just like the Catholic church did/does.
How could these men live with themselves? All for the sake of fucking football? Another reason I hate football so much.

Not to mention that the students currently protesting over this guy being fired should be ashamed of themselves!!!

The whole lot of child rapers and those fuckers who protected the child rapers, from the lowest to the highest, needs to be fired and then tarred and feathered.
Putting football over protecting children is reprehensible.
