In 2009, Sundance premiered I Love You Phillip Morris, the Jim Carrey & Ewan McGregor gay, love, crime and comedy movie.
It was all the rave then and it still generates buzz now. But so far, they have pushed back the release of the movie about 3 times now.
Why, you may ask?
Well, maybe because of the sex scenes.
Yes, there are serious sex scenes in this movie. In fact, go here to see them for yourself.But I have to ask, why are these scenes stalling the release of the movie?
Think of Basic Instinct, Showgirls and Fatal Attraction. These films were trumped up in sex and we still got to see them in the theaters.
Come on people, it's 2010. If we want to see Jim Carrey do the "booty, booty" with another man, we should get see it in theaters. So release it!

Wow - those scene are really cutting edge (for cinema I mean). It's a sign of the times and it should be shown.....
The first scene is so done in Jim Carrey style though!
My best friend saw the movie in Switzerland and he said it was great.
