Will a CW Wonder Woman/Arrow crossover be a Good Thing?

Yesterday, I read this piece about a possible Wonder Woman/Arrow crossover at CW.
Arrow executive producer Greg Berlanti kicked it off by saying both shows could definitely co-exist.

He said:
"Absolutely! If there's room for a thousand reality shows, hopefully there's room for a thousand shows like this. My hope is we're successful enough that we're all on the air together; that'd be great."
Okay... But, my hairs stood up when I saw this part from executive producer Andrew Kreisberg:
"With Wonder Woman, Diana of Themyscira, there are superpowers. I don't foresee crossovers, but one of the great things about superheroes is that they're constantly being reimagined. There's the Adam West and Christopher Nolan versions of Batman, and one doesn't obviate the other. The Lynda Carter version was great, and now the CW is hopefully developing another wonderful version that will be a nice complement to Arrow."
Another wonderful version... I cringed because earlier, they didn't want anyone with superpowers to be in the series.

Will Diana be powerless? And if so, why? She is a mythical being, blessed by the Gods. Should she be powerless to fit the show? I hope not. Diana could make an appearance in the series, but she has to have her powers.

Now, they could go the Cathy Lee Crosby route, but I hope they give some 'Wonder' to Diana.

If they go for a Diana who is not super strong, it cuts down on the special effects budget. She can be a hand-to-hand combat/ranged weapons specialist, which I wouldn't mind- but she has to be something other than 21st century Xena.
The problem with the 70s show was the lack of believable combat; I got tired of WW just throwing the thugs who threatened her, but of course WW wouldn't tear a mortal human's head off.
I want to see WW face foes who are creditable threats to her (without the kryptonite cop out that Smallville had to constantly use, or the 'take off her belt and she loses her strength' gimmick from the 70s show); maybe they could start her out at 1/4 her full strength potential and she grows into her full power over time?
I would like to see a WW who uses stealth and skill, not just a bruiser who crashes down through the roof and dispatches 6 thugs in 3 seconds. During the Gail Simone run of the comic, there was that story where WW and Black Canary went undercover in the super Fight Club, and Canary makes an extremely important observation that Diana is not like the other tanks who rely only on brute strength, she takes the measure of her opponent, reads weaknesses and makes a calculated strike. Early in the new Justice League (the pre-reboot new JL), Batman observes that Diana is probably the best hand-to-hand fighter in the world, and later after she zips into a scene, he says he forgets how fast she can move. To me, Diana is pretty much the ultimate character in the DC universe, not just because she's fabulous, but because she's got some of Superman and some of Batman for powers and could slaughter most foes if she didn't restrain herself.
The CW would surely want to take advantage of some of that in the wake of The Avengers success. I see why they want to do a take on Hawkeye, but they also need a Thor to give us some spectacle.
Having Diana be a mythical being has a lot of potential-- she doesn't completely fit with the gods, she doesn't completely fit with the humans. Lots of story they can mine there, but let's just hope that they don't spend years with the should I be a hero waffling that we had to endure on Smallville.
