I recently attended the Brain Tank Mini-Con here in Providence. The events were held at AS220.
We sort of off the cuff said how awesome if we could get Nye to speak at next years Brain Tank Mini-Con.
So I went and looked it up. It costs $30,000 to $50,000 to book him.
So I told the group lets start fundraising. Probably setup a kickstarter page for it soon enough.
And we may have to move the venue. The RI Convention Center is actually fairly inexpensive to rent out for a day.
