Question of the Day

How do you feel about American Horror Story?

Me? I'm mixed on it. While it's interesting and alluring, it's also confusing and all over the place. Ghost are 'alive', too many horrors in one house, characters you somwhat like... It's a little sweet for me to taste sometimes. But I want to hear from you all.

I enjoy it. I agree that there do seem to be a lot of horrors for one house. I hope that the show's creators have a plan for the show and aren't just winging it.

I agree as well, it does seem all over the place, but the characters are so great. I love it.

There do seem to be a lot of dead folks, and ghosts, in one house, but, on the whole, I kinda like it and will continue to watch.

I like it, but want to love it and so far, it hasn't quite pushed me over into that column. Some elements seem inspired, a lot seem really arbitrary and random. Tonally, it's all over the map and sometimes I'm in the mood for the tone, other times it annoys. It's always interesting, particularly the Jessica Lange character who manages the shifts between surreal serious-ness with the campier cattiness better than most of the others with the exception of Frances Conroy who's awesome in the screen time they give her. Sometimes it's hilarious and witty, but lately it's just been unpleasant morethan anything. The jury's still out for me on this one. I hope it figures out what it wants to be soon though.

I'm glad I'm not the only one that thinks it's a bit ADD. It's been too long that Ben and Vivien haven't figured out at least one thing that's gone on in the house. And didn't they leave the hospital a little too quick without finding out why the nurse giving Vivien the sonogram fainted?

I love it. This and Walking Dead are the highlight TV shows of my week.
Agreed, that there are too many dead people/horror/ghost. But, if the conclusion of this season is done right... then all my complaining will be for naught.

The thing I love about it is that it's not predictable. Jessica Lange could play every character and I'd watch it. There are too many good things about this show.

Jessica Lang alone could do this show and I'd watch it. It's also quite unpredictable. The characters are interesting and never goes where I think it will. It's definitely a TV highlight for me each week.
