White House welcomes Gay Families to their Easter Egg Roll

This is exciting news. President Obama has invited gay families to the White House Easter Egg Roll.

This the administration's effort to be inclusive of other families and supportive in our goal for civil rights. The invite was also given to LGBT organizations like Family Equality Council, National Gay and Lesbian Task Force and the HRC.

This is very different than before, folks. A few years ago we went to the Easter Egg Roll to show the world that we actually exist. We had about 100 families present and every thing was cool. However, the Repubs claimed we were 'crashing' the event and possibly infecting their children with gayness.

This year, we are invited...so I wonder what they will say this time.

Praise the All Father for Brother Barack. This makes me weep tears of joy....We're getting more than a foot in the door. Still a long road to go, but it's more than a start. I don't think any of the preceding 43 Presidents would have given us a moment's thought of inclusiveness.

Kudos President Obama!

Indeed, great news. People always downplay Obama asking where the change is.

Here it is. And it isn't just this, government is becoming more open, more accountable. I'm loving it.
