Openly gay and Iowa's State Senator, Matt McCoy, has received a death threat for his support of marriage equality.
McCoy is strong advocate for gay rights in Iowa and helped pass the bill legalizing gay marriage.
He didn't want to reveal the content of the message, but he's fine. Investigation is happening as we speak.
It's sad to hear about this foolishness, but I guess it's not a huge surprise. Still, it makes our goal for equality stronger every minute.
