The thought of getting a tattoo has crossed my mind a few times.

I think a little decoration can be nice. But I know that the guy I was at 20 is not the guy I am now, nor is it the guy I'll be when I'm in my sixties. I can't imagine this guy at sixty still being cool with the fact that he has a Spiderman costume bursting from his flesh when he's subscribing to AARP. Something smaller will fade and have abetter chance of being removed should you want to. But that dude is Spidey for life. And the same for the other ones too.
And that last one looks kinda infected. He may need to see a doctor. (Both a physical and mental one.)
