Try as he might, the GOP won't be relevant again for a very long time, at least another generation if I'm right.
For years they lambasted Democrats for being tax and spend. The Republicans are tax-cut and spend. But even that isn't true, overall the Republicans just shift the tax burden from the higher earners to the middle earners.
You really have to be a complete dolt not to see what Republicans have been up to for the past 30 or 40 years.
